Equinox 2007

Ahahaa...I haven't updated in like forever have I? Although I wanted to do this bunny adventures post I never got around to it. And I'm -supposed- to be studying for promos right now but I'm taking a break.

Here's a quick photo update on my life cause I'm lazy and all and it just so happened that there were photographers at equinox 2007. I'd wait for my friend's photos but that means I'll never post =D -slacker-

This is the only image that I'm inclined to show though. My face can't be seen! XDD Amen to that.

Equinox was uber uber fun. I danced all night except for the slow dancing bits =( =(

Me and Brian were kind of challenging each other. No. The guy in the picture is not Brian. There are no photos of us dancing. Amen. Thank goodness because you would see me putting hands against the air--I was doing some sort of mime dance .__.

This is my Answer [a foreword to the bunny adventures]

This is a short essay I have written to answer the question: Why do I carry Bun Bun around? I hope most of you will not just skim over the essay with your eyes picking out the highlighted words but actually do read my complete reasoning and logic behind what I have done. But for those who do not want to, I do not have a choice in it. Regardless, I thank you for taking your time to read this and it is my hope that I will not receive this question in the future.

Red-Answers
Light Red-My bad attempts at answering
Purple-My questions to you
Light Green-My thoughts that support my reasoning

Before I begin the bunny adventures, I would like to clarify some of the questions people asked me in the first three months. Maybe they've given up on asking me this question because I have not heard this question in many months already. The answer that I have always given after a few fumbles however is: "Because I like it." Simply because it is really none of their business what I do. The fumbles that I made were my genuine effort to find an answer to the question that even I cannot explain because I do not bother to question my subconscious.

This is my attempt to give an answer to the busybodies who poke their noses into where it does not belong.

I cannot answer your question outright. It is not my wish to question my subconscious. Maybe I am just narcissistic and like feeling people's eyes on me, an "Attention-Seeker" that was my dead chemistry teacher's label to some of my classmates. I know I occasionally just bring the bunny to school to piss people off because while they do not confront me directly about it due to their own cowardice, I know that it irks them and that they find me very immature. That reason would be an immature one. Others could be because I need support when there is no one to give it. I will be honest, there is no one in my class that I would be willing to burden with my thoughts beyond that of worries about schoolwork. As it is we all have our own troubles to deal with. I could conjure up a million reasons, it is next to impossible to map out the frame of any human mind, particularly one that is easily swayed by emotions.

Let us start at the beginning. What really made me first decide to bring my bunny to school? It is not like I have a particularly strong attachment to it, it was a birthday gift I had gotten recently after all. The answer that I have found at last is the one that is the bane of many humans, curiosity. I wanted to see how people would react. Would they treat me normally? Would they be judgmental? While many would have stopped at curiosity for the fear of being ostracized is overwhelming, I ignored this fear. From my point of view, those whose hearts are so shallow to the point of being unable to see past a person's outer facade, they are not worth befriending. While I will admit that I myself am unable to see past a person's outer shell, I try to remind myself that people are multifaceted and I am not the only one on this godforsaken planet with a skewered mind. Beyond that I was subconsciously confident in my ability to survive two years with few friends and people whispering behind my back. After all, in MGS, my former school, I was placed in one of the most political classes for two years and spent my time there oblivious to the harsh exchange that was going around me or flitting in between the warring groups.

Why do I continue to bring my bunny to school? The answer is really simple. I know there are people watching me. It is not narcissism for me to say this because I have heard what they say about me despite my oblivion, my class being cut off from the rest of the school and my friend's efforts to avoid telling me what people whisper behind my back. To sum up what they say about me in one word, they would call me "weird". In truth I am tired of bringing my bunny rabbit to school. I have obtained my answers, I have annoyed the people I wanted to annoy and freaked out the rest in the process. I bring it because it continues to irk those who dislike it and deem it as 'childish'. It also provides a source of amusement and entertainment to my days which are filled with schoolwork and endless repetition.

Now that I have given my answers, I want to challenge you, those who consider me "weird", "immature", with a question. What is so wrong about carrying a soft toy to school? Just what is so "weird" and "immature" about it? Are these terms not just mere judgments of society? In the first place, who writes these rules and what right does society have to enforce them? Why is it a sixteen year old cannot carry a soft toy to school? Why can we not all just do what we want with our own lives and keep our noses out other's lives? Society is governed by a set of morals, certain morals I agree with because without these morals we would likely be akin to barbarians, tearing at each other's throats. As a Christian, I believe in some morals and am clear on certain things that we should not do. However God does not dictate the way that we should behave, furthermore accepting and loving us despite of what we are and what we do. As mere mortals, how are we to place judgment over others? For other religions, do your gods truly dictate what is considered to be "mature" and "normal"? These are just terms that society holds over our heads. Perhaps it is not completely wrong to follow societal norm, but I believe in free will and the choice to do what you want with our own lives. Now if only some people could understand this and not see me and exclaim, "SHE'S ALREADY SEVENTEEN FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!"(My friend actually quoted this to me).

Revival-My Class

I am here to revive this blog from the dead. It isn't going to be easy cause within the past few months....I have met my new class, met my new teachers, passed Valentine's...passed CNY...passsed the getting of my new handphone(Which resulted in my laziness in using a proper camera...and resulted in photos of poor quality) and the second orientation as well as the JAE which also means I'm probably going to say goodbye to my class ;__; So let me kick start this post with a photo of my class.

The attention seeker in the front is David, this is his camera which is also partly why I named him. I can't be bothered to name the rest of the class because it would take far too long...You can message me if you want to know anyone's name though XD

And for those 'oh so observant' people who noticed that me, the one who is hugging the shortest girl in the class, Sharyl(She so won't appreciate that description XD), YES I am in a slightly...slutty pose, but it was in the name of FUN and to freak some people out. So that can't be used against me. Thppt.

This is Sharyl. I adopted her as my little sister(Despite the fact that she is older than me by a few months...because she is shorter than me XD)

Call her the class darling. She deserves the name because she is so sweet she'll give us all cavities. She's polite, nice and perfect in almost every way.

Anyway. For those of you who want to see Sharyl dancing, she will be dancing in cosfest 2007 so go watch =3 I think I may show up in the Mahou Academy costume from Mahou Sensei Negima...Just need to alter the shirt for it and get a tie ^^;;

The photo to the right was take
n on Valentine's Day. Which rocked by the way cause I got so much chocolate. The flowers have died already XD

The girl in that photo beside me is Eileen, my adoptive triplet cause everyone says she looks like me. She
wrote me a really sweet note during Valentine's telling me how she thought I was weird at first(She thought right!) but converted later haha. Other people have said the same thing as she said in the note though, so eh. I'll be sorry to say bye bye to her if I change classes ;__;

The guy in the photo is Robin. Robin is suuuch a saad creature ;__; He comissioned me to draw a cd cover for Valentine's to put in a cd case which contained a cd he burnt for a girl he liked. Then he put a rose around it like a belt buckle. But w
hen he confessed to her...she had no reaction!!! NO RESPONSE!! So sad ;__; Nevermind Robin, I'm sure you'll have a girlfriend someday...-coughinthefarfarfuturecough- (joking XD)

Another photo taken on Valentine's and editted...on my phone... The guy carrying the HUGE PAIL of roses is James our class president. He ran around giving roses to every single girl in our class and all the teachers.

The girl there is Crystal Wong, our ex head prefect of the MG!!! XD She's in my class now XD

Here's James giving Madam Tham flowers XD

What happens when I
get high on photo editting ->

Here's Nick. He...misbehaved during chem
istry practical. A.K.A squirted water at a girl. Because our teacher had to manage the J2's, the teacher from the neighbouring class made him stand like that. Which is interesting because my friend from the neighbouring class told me that her class does it and they weren't forced to do this. Hm.

I had to stand like this after awhile too. W
hy? For patting a girl on the head. Which detracted from the time I could have spent doing my practical. That teacher seemed more interested in punishing us than allowing us to do what we come to JC to do. Study.

Here's my senior from Drama. Her name is Kathy. We all went to Holland V after Drama crew to have dinner ^^

See Eileen sitting in the trolley...She got told off by the guy(not sure who he was...) Hm...I don't think he realised we were
AC students...I hope...

On the random note. The girls to the left are all in Drama! Wooh. So is NIck and June but they weren't in the photo and we took that on Eileen's birthday ^^ forgot to take
the cake too. Eep.

Now for a random photo...(I shall post my other weird shots in the next post ^^)

My OG mate, Jeremy being demented during OG time. I swear he looks like a girl. His looks remind me of Sharyl(at least his hair does) and his legs are as slim as a girl and lack leg hair! Like he waxes it or something...(Hopes he never comes across this blog XD.

Now to end of the randomness sith a photo we took in the lift of the class reflected in the balloon XD Can't really see us can ya? Don't worry, I can't either.

Bun Bun Goes to ACJC!

This is the insane, crazy, Crystalia speaking. I brought my bunny to school today :D The one that Wesley gave me. His twin(char and karms gave me an identical one...they have the same tastes -sighs-), Usa-chan is pretty jealous. But eh.

So what happens when I go to school carrying a bunny? Half of the people think Bun Bun is cute(Bun Bun says that is not strange at all). And couldn't stop touching him. Poor darling. He was so frightened. Otherwise, I think the other half gave me strange looks. Particularly the schoolmates who followed me from MGS. Oh well. Bun Bun says that I am talking too much and that I must let him talk now...so...Bun Bun speaking.

Bun Bun is here. Bun Bun's real name is Mad Hatter, but my owner insists on calling Bun this degrading name. >_<... Bun Bun went to Mistress Cryssie's school today. Bun Bun felt that considering how this was the last day Mistress Cryssie's orientation group got to spend together, they were rather stoned and unresponsive.

Look! They didn't even want to take photographs =(

So Mistress Cryssie got through most of the day without doing much...besides studying, going for lectures...it is Bun Bun's personal opinion that she needs to get a life. After school, Mistress Cryssie met up with her friend Pamela who is studying at PJC. Lady Pamela said Bun Bun is cute, so not true! >_<...

Pardon my bunny's shyness. He's adorable. Look.

See, aren't
I adorable. And Pamela and Bun Bun of course. =D It was great to see her again.

Today for photography, we went to Rocher park to take photos =) Our mentor gave us alot of tips. Which also made me realise how sucky my camera is. Maybe i'll save up towards a better one...although I'll probably never get a DSLR cause i like convenience...so a digital compact is best for me... Congratulate me. I'm finally saving up towards something that is reasonable and not based on a whim like my "I want a dollfie" desire.

Bun Bun likes photography, yes. Mistress Cryssie's senior, Karee told everyone to greet me =) And Bennet took a picture of Mistress Cryssie and Bun Bun. But the picture is on
Bennet's camera...so Mistress Cryssie cannot show it. =(

We learnt alot of technical details. I think my favourite is the composition, the leading lines. Although I didn't manage to find any to practice with =(...So I'll just show you random photos that I took I suppose.

An amusing photo I took on Monday when I went for the photography welcome tea...:

Now on a parting note, Bun Bun and I want to say...if you don't leave a taggie or a comment, Bun Bun and I will be very sad =( So taggie!! See you idiot heads from my school on Monday! =D

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Sugar is sweet,
And So are you.

But

The roses have withered
The violets are dead.
The sugarbowl's empty
And So is your head.

UWC Residential Camp

Gah. You guys depress me. Although I told my entire OG to come to my blog, only my friend Yewey who isn't even PART of my OG left a tag. =( I am very very depressed. I shall ignore you heartless beings from now on. Just joking. This post is to talk about the UWC(United World College) camp. And I took lotsa photos. Because I am a cam-whore. Yay. However!! Before I begin posting photos. Let me post a very, highly, amusing photo that I took in school before I went for camp:

Awesome isn't it? You guys will have to thank Dawn for helping me take the photo. I'm in the background. One day, I will explain why it is exactly I wear two ponytails to school. In the mean time, you will live. Oh yeah. If anyone wants the full sized picture, do send me an email. I'll be glad to oblige. Or, you can ask over msn.

NOW! To log my experience at the UWC camp. I can't exactly show you a buncha photos depicting what happened, because I took pictures at the last part. I suppose I can bug Uncle Q(his real name is too long) for photos, but I think for now I will just introduce the people I met at the camp.

These three beautiful young ladies are, Evgenia, Senani and myself.(If you leave a comment asking where's the third beautiful young lady, I will hurt you. badly.)

Evgenia's the blonde on the left. She's from Russia and she's pretty, isn't she? She takes Biology ^^ And I REALLY wanted to ask her to take a look at my lecture notes for Bio(cause I brought them), but the camp ended too early =( So disappointed.

Senani's from Swaziland, on the right. She's pretty too, isn't she? She gave us a presentation on Swaziland and it was really cool because we found out all sorts of things about Swaziland, from a native's perspective. If you have the free time, I definitely reccomend you to go and do some research on that country. And don't look at the boring old statistics on the percentage of HIV in the country. Take a look at their culture and the political situation of the country. It's really fascinating. Makes me feel like I'm from sucha boring country =(

At the bottom is me. The pretty Singaporean chinese girl. What do you mean, "Where are you?" >_>...

The lady with
her eyes closed would be...CRAP! I don't remember =(( Well, whenever one of the UWC people grace my blog, I suppose we'll find out. Then I can amend this post. Sorry!! >_
